Kath Browne

My work operates at the intersections of sexualities and gender geographies exploring issues of difference, inequalities and resistances. I have worked with participatory and feminist methods to explore how marginalised lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people experience and re-use everyday spaces. I am also interested in how space recreated gendered identities and sexed bodies working with trans lives, women who are mistaken for men and women’s separatist spaces. Finally, I work on multiscalar resistances to LGBT equalities.
